By changing the zoning from agricultural to residential, the existing barns will make way for modern barn-style homes that nod to the site's cultural heritage.
Together with the historic peat worker’s cottage, designated as a municipal monument, the project forms a unique and distinctive whole.
The plan has currently been submitted to the municipality as a preliminary proposal. The design is being developed in collaboration with landscape architect Frans Beune and architectural firm Maas Kristinsson.
